We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. Your precision and expertise will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient production of high-quality metal parts. The ideal candidate will have experience in press brake operations, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and prepare press brake machines for production runs, including tool setup and selection
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine bending requirements
- Load metal sheets or components into the press brake machine
- Operate press brake machine to bend metal components according to specified angles and dimensions
- Perform quality checks to verify tolerances and dimensions
- Make necessary adjustments to machine
- Inspect finished parts for defects and perform any rework
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines
- Maintain press brake machines and perform regular maintenance
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience a a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role
- Knowledge of press brake machine setup and operation
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift and handle metal sheets and components
- Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing production demands
